Traditional legend passed down through generations has it that these were hung over the bed and only the good dreams would be subsequent. The bad dreams are caught in the web and only the good dreams make it through the webbing to find their way to the person sleeping below. Now days you will find dream catchers hanging in various locations in a home or office and from the rearview mirrors in cars. Anywhere one may sleep or daydream seems appropriate for a dream catcher in these modern times but no one should be without one hanging over their bed.
